Acro Regional Championships - 2013

Ali & Natalya - Pitch off. (Silver Medal)

Congrats to all the gymnasts attending the regional championships over the weekend. We had some very mixed results. Unfortunately our groups who have been doing so well recently, faced some stiff competition, and didn't place as well as in previous competitions, having said that, they did place higher in artistry than those groups above them!

With that said, we must congratulate our mixed pair once again. Ali and Natalya narrowly missed out on the top spot going to National Finals.. by only 0.1! Their technicals were stronger than the winning pair!

Lastly, very very well done to our new partnership of Sadie and Ryoka, who placed 4th, and have managed to qualify to REPRESENT LONDON in the Inter-Regional Prep & Grade 1 Championships, situated in Southampton in May. What a wonderful acheivement, for their first year of acrobatics. Well done girls!!

We started to see some real improvement in our Women’s Pairs! Special congratulations to Sadie Levi & Olivia Foley for placing 7th out of 18 pairs, our best WP placing so far! The Trio’s did well with Gr1 in 7th and Gr2 placing 6th in their category.

Our Mixed Pair narrowly missed out on a bronze medal, by 0.35! They came in 4th. Some very smooth routines, nice competition, well done to all!

L&G Acro Competition Results Jan 2013

Well done to all who attended the competition in Sutton. It was a very long day. Unfortunately our Mixed Pair who woke up at 6am, then found themselves competing 11 hours later at 5pm. This produced some mistakes not normally borne by them. Nevertheless, they still maintained and 8.3 tech score.

Our Grade1 trio still staying up there with the best of them… only being beaten by 2 of London’s best Acrobatics clubs. They placed 6th overall. Well done girls!

Heathrow Acro Competition RESULTS

Ali & Natalya - Grade 2 - Bronze

Competition number 2 of 2013… we are getting better!

Well done to the mixed pair for their medal position placing behind two pairs who maintained the two highest scores in the entire competition.

Also to note, our Grade 1 women’s group, still working hard, placing 21 out of all 117 partnerships throughout the whole day.

We maintained consitent scores throughout the day, and were awarded with overall team BRONZE!

SWIFTS Acro Comp (Kent) - RESULTS

As expected, we attended a very strong South East Region Acro competition. Although we were minus a few partnerships, we managed to come away with a few great results!

Our Grade 1 Women's Group won BRONZE, behind 2 very strong Heathrow groups.

Despite the fact our Grade 2 Mixed Pair were the only ones in the category, they managed to achieve the HIGHEST artistry score throughout the ENTIRE competition, regardless of category or grade - an acheivement to be proud of! Well done to all!

Leicester Acro & Tumbling Invitational Dec 2012 - Results!

Hendon’s first ever Acrobatic Squad made a trip to Leicester for their FIRST ever Acrobatics competition last Sunday 9^th December. 

The team did themselves, Hendon, and their coaches very proud, as they won both categories they entered in acrobatics, as well as gaining 1^st AND 2^nd place in the grade 1 Women’s Pairs competition, beating 16 other pairs to the top spots!

The same gymnasts also entered the Tumbling section of the competition, and amazingly won every single category they entered… special praise given to Aashni Patel for beating 15 other competitors to the top spot in her tumbling grade! All results below:
